Welcome!

We invite you to join us for the 43rd Annual Treasure Valley Classic on May 7-8, 2021! We will be featuring Sport Horse classes, Main Ring classes, and the new Working Western classes! We will also be hosting a separate Dressage Schooling Show on Saturday May 8th.

The Des Arab Arabian Horse Association was organized in Boise, Idaho in 1967, and chartered in 1968. Des Arab seeks to bring together people in Idaho who are interested in the Arabian horse, and to encourage active participation for the betterment of the breed. In addition, we strive to provide an opportunity for the exchange of views on equitation and use of the breed, and to encourage promotion of horse shows, clinics, parades, trail rides, youth activities, and to demonstrate the versatility of the Arabian horse.

Des Arab Arabian Horse Association is a member of the Arabian Horse Association (AHA). The Association has divided the United States and Canada into 18 regions. We are a part of Region IV, which is comprised of Oregon and Southern Idaho.
For 40 years, Des Arab has put on the Treasure Valley Classic horse show, which is a qualifying show for the Region IV Championships and the National Shows (US, Canada, Youth, and Sport Horse). Every other year the Sport Horse Nationals is held in Nampa at the Ford Idaho Horse Park. We invite you to check out our Horse Shows page for more information.
Our membership is small but diverse, with members using their Arabians for trail riding, show, endurance, pleasure, and ranch work. We welcome anyone with a love for the Arabian breed who would like to be a part of a local community of enthusiasts. Please see our Membership page for an application, and join us today!
